A while back, a viral social media post advised changing your voicemail greeting to let others know where you are if you become lost or stranded.
However, if you have an iPhone or Android, a better option could be to share your location with family or friends and text them to let them know that you need their help. This alternative method helps ensure that people get promptly notified that you need help versus relying on others to call and listen to your voicemail greeting.
It's important to note that you need a cellphone signal to change your voicemail greeting or share your location.
While you may already know this information, others may not. Please share this article with family and friends to help ensure that others are also aware of ways to share their location when they need others to find them.
